Hello ladies and gentleman! Are you looking for a loveable little lap dog? You've come to the right place! My name is Journey...and what a journey I've had. Way back in November, I found myself on the county pound euthanasia list. I was in horrible health- thin, coughing and with a huge mass hanging from my abdomen. Then, something special happened- M.A.I.N. stepped up to rescue me and my journey began! I have been receiving treatment all these months for Valley Fever, Tick Fever and pneumonia. The mass on my abdomen turned out to be a hernia, which has been surgically removed. I've put on lots of healthy weight and am feeling great! I will have to be on Valley Fever medication for awhile, but I am otherwise healthy and ready to find my fur-ever home. I get along with other dogs and really enjoy going on walks. I'm a pretty mellow girl though and love nothing better in this world than to curl up in a lap for pets. Don't worry, there's something in it for you too- all my doggy love, companionship and affection! Foster mom says I'm real sweet and a little shy. I warm up quick though- in fact, foster mom says I'm "the perfect lap dog." It's been a long journey, but I just know at the end of the road my happy ending is waiting for me...a fur-ever family to call my own. Maybe that's you? Set up a meet and greet with me today!
