Hello world! It's me, Venicia, the dog you've been looking for! As you can see from my pictures, I'm a super happy girl. In fact, the only thing I'm serious about, is having FUN! Maybe that's because I'm just so glad to have a second chance at life. A few months back, I was found abandoned along a canal with no food and water, tied to a tree. Some nice people brought into the county pound for help, but my leg was injured and I needed vet care. Lucky for me, M.A.I.N. and my foster mom have gotten me all the help I needed and I am now 100% healthy and ready for a family to call my own! I really, really love those things the humans call toys, especially bouncy balls and chew toys. I'm an expert at fetch! I also really love to play with other dogs and get along great with my foster siblings. I hope you have a dog at home I can play with that appreciates my energy! There's pure joy on my face when I'm playing, and I bet that will bring a smile to YOUR face too! I'm also a very smart and curious girl. I already know "sit" and "wait." I love to explore and would make an excellent exercise partner. We can do lots of things together; maybe you want to take me on a hike, or to the dog park? I'm up for anything! Due to my energy level, it would be best if I go to a home with children ages school age and up.Whew! All that activity is going to make me very sleepy- can I cuddle up next to you for a nap? I LOVE people and haven't met a stranger yet. My favorite things in this world are belly rubs and I'll repay you with lots of kisses.
