Jack Russel- Jax is special in Phoenix, Arizona For Sale

Jax is a 4 year old fixed purebred male looking for his special and LAST family.
Jax was adopted from a pound by my sister's boyfriend. He realized that due to his work schedule, he doesn't have the time to properly care for Jax, so he brought Jax to me so that I can find the right family for him as appose to him going back to the pound.
I have been told that Jax has separation anxiety and destroys things but I am yet to see it. He didn't even care when his owner left him with me. Maybe it's because I have dogs so he isn't lonely? Because of this, I want Jax to go to a home that has another Dog in the house. He does great in my home and I am yet to see this little guy do any type of damage. Then again, I have not had a reason to leave the house so I haven't given him the opportunity. But he sleeps in the living room and when I come out of my bedroom in the morning, the house is fine.
His previous owner wants him in a home with a spacious yard as he did not do well in an apartment. I will not let give go to a home with an apartment.
I think Jax has been dumped in shelters his whole life--- he seems emotionally unavailable and has very sad eyes. He is starting to come out of his shell a little bit and doesn't look so sad anymore so I am just beginning to get to know his personality, but I don't want him to get attached to me because I don't want to scar him anymore then he probably is by all the people who neglected him. He is a little shy but he likes to be sociable. He is not hyper and a very relaxed dog...barely noticeable. I wish I could keep him but I already have owners (Basset Hounds). He needs someone that will give him all the attention that he deserves.
He is not papered or anything because he came from a pound but he is obviously pure bred and a lot better looking then some breeders who charge a lot for poorly looking bred terriers. He is up to date on his vaccinations, his tail is docked, his dew claws have apparently been removed and he is microchipped as well.
